How to solve the plastic soup? During a few weeks schools take a look at the challenge of (single use) plastics and come up with alternatives. They recycle, upcycle, reuse and find solutions.

During this project we set up virtual, intercultural interactions between students from Palestine and Israel, Northern Ireland and Ireland, Pakistan and India. And students noticed there are more similarities than things which drive them apart. They started to appreciate what the other students were sharing. During the Kakuma project we started to notice that education has the potential to tackle polarisation and conflicts. This was more than confirmed during the Human Differences Project.
