Why are people building walls? How to build bridges instead? And how to use edtech to create a global network of teachers and students solving some of the precarious problems? This was the second global project after the Water Project, focussing on the UN Sustainable Development Goals.

During this project we set up virtual, intercultural interactions between students from Palestine and Israel, Northern Ireland and Ireland, Pakistan and India. And students noticed there are more similarities than things which drive them apart. They started to appreciate what the other students were sharing. During the Kakuma project we started to notice that education has the potential to tackle polarisation and conflicts. This was more than confirmed during the Human Differences Project.
